Junior Campers
Our Junior Camp Program is designed especially for our youngest campers—those entering Pre-K or Kindergarten and at least 4 years old. They enjoy all the fun, creativity, and community of Jefunira Camp, with activities thoughtfully adapted by Early Childhood Education specialists to meet their developmental needs. It’s the perfect first camp experience—safe, joyful, and just the right size.
Day Campers
The Day Camper Program is where 1st to 6th graders spend their summer outdoors, unplugged, and engaged in play-filled days with friends old and new. From big group games and creative challenges to water play and camp traditions, our campers explore, laugh, and grow in a welcoming, inclusive environment. With caring counselors and a focus on social-emotional growth, kids gain confidence while having the time of their lives.
Leaders in Training (LIT)
Our LIT program is designed for campers entering 7th, 8th and 9th grade who want to build leadership skills while still enjoying the fun of being a camper. We focus on the idea of influence without authority—how to guide a group’s choices through communication, initiative, and teamwork, rather than by giving orders. We help LITs figure out what leaders say and do, and give them chances to practice those skills in a positive, supportive environment. LITs participate in games and activities both with their peers and with the other camper groups, building confidence and connection as they grow.
Junior Counselor Program
For teens entering 10th–12th grade, Jefunira’s Junior Counselor Program offers a unique opportunity to learn what leaders say and do—and practice it. Junior Counselors are mentored by experienced staff as they take on real responsibilities and build essential life skills like communication, collaboration, initiative, and time management. The program is free to join and provides community service hours, all in a fun, supportive, and unplugged environment. JCs gain confidence, resilience, and a deep sense of belonging—while still being part of the camp community they love.
